Oh I had the exact same plan. I will wrap everything up by mid-august and land in end of August. Now I have doubts whether I'd hear anything this year at all. So I get where you're coming from.

Well , to make myself feel better since my medical is due to expire 4th Feb I highly doubt if they would ever approve it as and may or may not extend and hence they might just ask for a remed for which I will be happy to do and will push my landing till next Summer and save myself the soft-landing money I had saved up.

Landing in summer is always a better option than in the Canadian winter. I hope you hear some good news soon whether its through a remed or PPR. Good luck :)

Reply received from Ralph on 10-Oct-2019 that all Eligibility, criminality, and security checks are passed. File is in queue for final review and decision.

From your experience guys what is the maximum time to hear back from VO if it is in queue for final review?

I am in the same situation somehow. Difference is that mine was approved on Oct 1st per cic call centre agent but no ppr still and that my VO is Ottawa.

Nope. I am FSW-Outland

I see, hope we will receive PPR within the next week. How we can contact IRCC from outside Canada. I have been trying but it seems that it is automatically disconnecting.

Download TextNow app and call +1888-242-2100.

Yes of course it is a sample size, but I think the reason why we keep looking at these numbers and statistics is to provide us with some sanity. Hoping that if these many people got their cases approved maybe our time is near too. I know its not the best method but with there being barely any information from IRCC we have to make do with what is available.

I agree, I really hope all the January applicants get some good news by the end of this month. :)

express entry PNP- inland

Not necessarily. It's at IRCC discretion to call for interview or do the PPR email.

Mostly it's regular process but sometimes it goes the interview way.

Why would they ask for interview? I mean what kind of questions are you usually asked during that and If you were to pass it, do you receive your CoPR right away and do you need to hand out your passport for visa stamping?

I had this question in my mind for a long time. It doesn't apply to me but I was just wondering.
