Finally its PPR!!!

Its day 350 and I finally got an email saying there's a new message about your application, and when I checked my account I saw the request letter. Although I knew what to expect I couldn't believe what was happening and for a second it felt like I had lost the ability to read. My husband read it for me confirming that its actually the PPR.

My timeline---

AOR Jan 25, 2019
MEP Mar 7, 2019
VO Calgary

CoR USA
Medicals extended Dec 19, 2019
PPR Jan 10,2020

Thanks to everyone who supported me and gave me hope when I was frustrated with this wait. I really appreciate it, this forum has really brought some sanity in this almost year long wait.

My prayers and good wishes to everyone that is still waiting. Know that I am there hoping that you too get the relief that I got today.

Hey, congrats on the PPR. Can you please share the expiration date of your first time single entry visa that you got stamped on your passport? Is it valid till Dec 20?

Hi my Jan 2019 Fam,

So called CIC and came to know finally my ELIGIBILITYYYYYYYYYY has been PAAAASSSEEEDDDD today in the morning!

No PPR yet but for me this feeling is as equal as getting a PPR!

So below is the status now :

AOR : 1st February, 2019
Category : CEC Inland

Visa Office : Montreal
Medical : Passed (Medical valid till 22nd Jan 2020 for myself)

Thanks! I have not received the COPR yet so I do not know the expiry date of the one time visa. My medicals were extended in Dec 2019, so hopefully the visa validity should also be extended.

Congrats Bunny! Glad you crossed the PFL hurdle.
I believe your PPR will come this week. All the best:)

Wow! Have you called them since your re-med or emailed them?
I called yesterday, ''file still under review'' is what the agent said and before I could start venting or asking specific questions, she immediately said she had sent a reminder to the case analyst/officer in Ottawa.
I felt defeated as I really just wanted to vent. She stole my moment. Lol.
But seeing as she had already sent a reminder, all I could manage to say was ''Ok, thank you''.
Please did you call from Nigeria? And if yes, How please?

Hi Fam January 2019,

Some more update :

Today morning woke up to 2 new messages in my CIC account notified via email.

1. Request letter to pay RPRF for myself via MY CIC account and have been given 7 days for the same although I have paid Permanent Resident application & RPRF for myself which is $1040 so I assume they might be refering to my spouse for which I have just paid $550 which is Permanent Resident fee and RPRF is still pending. So I will pay $490 RPRF for my spouse and then will attach all 3 my receipt of $1040, spouse $550 and RPRF $490 for Spouse with letter of explanation which fee refering to whom and the date.

2. Remedical request for my Spouse whose medical expires on 23rd March, 2020. Found this little weird as it still has got more than 2 months to expire. So will get new date for the appointment and from there Doctor will upload the results which I believe is anywhere between 7 to 14 days post medical exam. They didnt ask for my remedical inspite of it expiring on 22nd January, 2020.

I am assuming these are the 2 final steps followed by PPR.

Posting this positivity updates to get the vibe attracted to YOU yes YOU who is still waiting to hear anything.

I wish the best for everyone who are still waiting.

They are working on Jan/Feb 2019 batches.

So keep your hopes high.

Cheers!

All the best again. :)
I doubt i'll be calling them this week, as I am really just drained with the process at this point.

Usually the officer will send a request for medical branch inside IRCC to re-visit the medical results of you and your spouse and from the looks of it it seem that yours were normal and your spouse had few odd readings that they thought are worth another fresh look. That did happen alot to others in this forum.

None the less you will get a medical extension since your medical expires very soon and your spouse will obviously get one full year to play around with.

In my case, I got extended for a about a year with no re-medical, I guess I passed the first time with flying colors.

Now that all of this have happened , your PPR is immanent

Completely understandable. Its been waaaay to long Wunmi. Clearly its a marathon not a sprint - take care of yourself and make it to the finish line in once piece.

Hi Friends

My application at Local Visa office at Singapore. I sent email to ask the status they replied that
The application is currently pending review by an officer.

How can I get more information about this review other than GCMS note
I passed my medical in September and waiting for PAL.

Please suggest what can I do now ...

Hi my score is 468 right now and I am yet to receive my WES ECA.

Should I expect an ITA if my profile reaches the pool by march 2020.
