Received my notes on 28 Aug (security not started and Eligibility recommended pass). Two days later, PPR.

Hope everyone gets their Golden Email soon.

Congratulations.....
It's nice to see people with eligibility recommended pass getting visa.....
I'm on that boat so it helps to hold my nerves....

I called CIC last week and agent told me that my application has been approved on August 22.

I still didn’t received PPR.

How long generally it takes for them to send PPR email? Also is there any reason it got delayed?

beware even for one day you should not let any gap, if you were taking vacation for 1 week for example between jobs, don't put it, just choose a day on which the next day you are on the second job, do not leave any gap !!!

Bro the request letter says no gaps between the dates at sr no 8..there is a start date and an end date..how a gap is possible is out of my understanding

Yes. More like January 15 and after though. One of the senior BAs (he got his PR 7 years ago) in my team here told me this. Also, he says if you are in IT, you are better off in Ontario inspite of sky high accommodation prices as other provinces have scarce openings in IT. Not sure if this information if of interest to you though.

Agreed! Jan is best month. If you land in December, people would just be planning for year end vacation and you will see no action. But if visa is expiring, there is really no choice

Me too, Eligiblilty and Security not started, info sharing in progress for 7 months and counting.
My AOR is January 22nd..
I had US visa refusals.

Status you mentioned is from GCMS or from call center.
Recently I applied my US visa B1/B2 and I got it, should I inform CIC about it.

The status is both from GCMS and call center. I know the see info on visa applications to the US through info sharing, so you might need to mention it.
I might be wrong, do get other people's input.

Same here ,except Criminality was passed on the day I submitted Bio-metrics just as info sharing was.

Eligibility was marked as met around Apr time and security was started sometime in mid August but no PPR yet
