Hopefully our files get picked by next week.I also have exact same status:
AOR - 29 Jan
Criminality - passed
Eligibility - RR for POF
Security - Not yet started
I got the same response from both Ralph and agent. Agent told that the reviewing officer has huge number of applications in queue with same issue (RR for POF) so I have to wait until my file reaches to him/her for review, but when will it reach? nobody knows. The file is still with CIO Sydney Nova Scotia. Agent told that final decision will be taken there only. Hope after 6 months timeline lapses, they might be getting some kind of reminder which will trigger them to review and approve. Let's pray..
By next week you should. Someone got same ADR and got PPR one week later.I emailed Ralph office about 2 weeks ago and was told that Eligibility was in progress - recommended pass, criminality and security checks passed. On 23rd July, i received ADR and was asked to submit documents regarding POF and a fresh bank statement. I submitted the documents on 26th July. My Aor is 24 Jan. Visa Office is London.
When can i expect a decision regarding my application? I mean how much time do they take after ADR documents submission at such a last stage to issue PPR? Any ideas? @Wahegurujee
Wow so adr means quick progress. At this point it's all about our files getting picked I guess.By next week you should. Someone got same ADR and got PPR one week later.
I hope so. ThanksBy next week you should. Someone got same ADR and got PPR one week later.
you are right.. Like i said, it was my observation and there will always be positive cases like yours.I just feel, it is about getting to your application. Once they start working on it, there will be a quick response. Because all that history is supported by valid documentation. As long as you are in the queue, waiting for someone to pick it up, no matter how simple the application is, it will take long. A first come first serve based processing would have worked great but again it all comes down to the numbers i guess. Greater the number of applications, longer it is taking for them. They are seriously understaffed and i am not sure why they are not considering employing more people.
In my personal case, we are married, under 30. We have both studied and worked in the United States for 6 years. My wife works in USA right now and i work in India. Both have a lot of travel history to various countries. Travelled also while the application was under processing, but updated them with latest passport stamps via webform.
Also, i personally know people in a similar situation that got PPR under 3 months and also people that have a very simple application and waiting past 6 months. This is the worst part of it. We cant analyze to form a hypothesis and come to a conclusion out of it.
sorry to hear that buddy, but I am sure they will clear your application soon .. My hypothesis is not generic but it is happening, we are a very small community to understand the delay. The thing is I'm 27 and I currently reside within Canada (Vancouver) and have been for the last 7 years. I studied here for University and have been working for about 2 years. I am also a single applicant but I am going to be part of the Elite Club soon.
exact same stage for me since 18th July.. hoping things would move soon.Today I finally emailed Mr. Goodale office and got some good news.
Eligibility is in progress – recommend pass.
Criminality passed.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Dec/19.
They answered really fast, only 1 hour after. So I highly recommend all the ones waiting with no information to send an email to them. Only after receiving this email order GCMS notes if you need more infos.
paste your email revert here please so we can helpIt said that my Eligibility requires Review, which sounds different to under review.. but when I emailed Goodale back the response I got was
“I don’t know that it means anything different”
I’m so confused! Does this mean it’s the same thing?
Your applications CRS score is what is reviewed under Eligibility. RR or Review required mean that the processing officer is not sure about some of your details and hence he is asking the final Visa officer to review your eligibility. Most of the times, RR changes to pass if the main Visa Officer is convinced, If they still find a problem, they will email you for more details. When was your AOR? Do you know what office your application is being processed at right now?
Edit:
Dear Kevin -
I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Jan 27, 2019. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Criminality is in progress.
Eligibility requires review.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Jan 2020.
Sincerely,
Robyn Sullivan
Office of the Hon. Ralph Goodale, MP
What does the Eligibility requires Review part mean? Can anyone shed some light on this
RR means the senior officer has to double check your eligibility and under review means its still not over. two different thingsIt said that my Eligibility requires Review, which sounds different to under review.. but when I emailed Goodale back the response I got was
“I don’t know that it means anything different”
I’m so confused! Does this mean it’s the same thing?
Soon my friend.. don't worry .. 6-8 months is the new normalSame situation here. My profile: 28, outland, single applicant... In the elite club since July 4th.
thats amazing. You are inching closer to you PPR. Stay patient and positive.I just spoke to an agent. He said that eligibility has been recommended to pass on my application while the security has not been started yet.
Criminality had been passed long back.
I received a Ghost Update on Monday.
AOR- Jan 6
They do not have any timeline on my application.
Call them dot at the start of the working hours.. it worked for meI have been trying to contact CIC via phone as well. But due to high call volume they are not able to connect me to an agent
must be a technical glitch.. thats the only way. try again in sometime and ensure your internet is working fineI am not able to raise a web form. When I look into the url after I click on the web form hyperlink on my application home page, it shows some 'technical issue'. Can anyone help?
