congrats. i was wondering what were the kind of questions they normally ask on test and interview.would you be able to tell some of the questions asked to you. got mine test on 1st nov .

thanks
I can not tell you exact questions, We are not allowed to share the exam questions as they’re protected via copyright. But what I did was, read discovery Canada book twice and did a lot of online tests from different sources. I secured 20/20. Test is not that difficult but does require some preparation. Most of the online tests pretty much represents what could be asked.

Interview was very quick, they look through documents and asked just basic questions

If you're referring to the fineprint which has a bunch of letters and digits at the bottom left, then it is CIT 0039 (10-2017) E
Thank you very much faiyaz.ally!

It is helpful to know that IRCC has finally updated the form (they are using the 10-2017 version now, rather than the 05-2015 version).

Could you please mention the time period they are asking for in the first couple of questions during which the applicant should be free from prohibitions. Is it still SIX years, or has it been reduced to five or four years? Thanks in advance,

Received my passport in the mail today, 8 days after applying in person at the passport office.

And with that, I draw a line under the story that is my immigration journey. Thanks to everyone here at these forums sharing their stories, their timelines, and their advice. And good luck to everyone who is still waiting - your day will come soon! :D

Hello Fellow Canadians.
I had my test and interview last week and the lady at the interview told me that i shall receive the oath invite via physical mail or an email.
So I’m curious to know how have you been receiving the oath invites lately knowing to the fact that Canada Post is on rotational strike in some regions of canada.
Do u guys receive it as email or physical mail?

Since Canada post is on strike its wise to daily check your Ecas as well as email and also spam folder before deletion.

Get ready January 2018 applicants. I received my invitation to the oath ceremony at Mississauga office on November 16th. My test was held at Scarborough office though. The invitation came through email.

Hey everyone!

I got my Oath Ceremony notice by email yesterday, and my Oath date is Nov 30, 2018. It came a lot sooner than I anticipated and the date is earlier than I was expecting as well, and I am very pleased! Can someone please update my info in the spreadsheet?
