so i've been in process since March... could it be that there's something wrong in the app? like a discrepancy or something? and if there was something, wouldn't they have contacted me to seek clarification by now (after more than 4 months?)

nevermind, people. Lo and behold, today I received the test invite!

test date Aug 23. In process since march 27 I believe

Here is an interesting observation from the google sheet.

Only one out of 28 applications submitted from (Brampton, Burlington, Caledon, Kitchener,Milton,Mississauga,Oakville ) has received a test invite. My assumption (based on proximity of these locations) is that all of these locations are handled by Mississauga Office and everyone in this office has gone on Summer Vacation

Received FP request Aug 9th and completed the FP the same day. RCMP said they will send it off to the immigration. Please update the spreadsheet.

Most of Milton and Oakville applications are handled in Hamilton office including mine. Halton region is mostly between Mississauga and Hamilton.

When I received the response on my web inquiry - It said my application is handled by Mississauga office.

"Your application is currently at the IRCC office in Mississauga. This office is verifying if you meet the eligibility requirements to be granted Canadian citizenship. Rest assured that you will be contacted if additional information is needed."

I did web inquiry on my case - Edmonton - and they replied back that background check (Finger Print) was passed and everything is complete.
Just to wait for the test invite (that was last week) .
No new updates what so ever , maybe related to vacations season!!!
It's very slow process for me

Our application "Oakville" is being processed at Hamilton.. So I will supposed it is very slow as Mississauga
