Congrats, my file has been under processing at same office for last almost 4 months now, did submit fingerprints 2 months ago. I did made a webform enquiry only to get a general response, can you elaborate what did you mention in the webform, looks like its doesnt go past the customer service agents...

Well, I didn't mention anything specific but a just a general query regarding status of my citizenship application. I did mentioned about my plans to visit out of country by end of this year. Next day, I received interview/test email.

I remember that during my interview when officer was checking various stamps on my passport and verifying it with information provided on my citizenship application, there was one US stamp missing and it was few hours road trip to US. I did mentioned on my citizenship application but there was no stamp on passport for this visit. She asked me how do I remember that and then asked me to sign one form (probably to check with US about my entry/exit). I asked her if it would delay my application process and she promptly replied that No.

I have noticed that some people are getting FP request? While some are not getting. Any idea what is the reason to receive FP request?

Usually it's because applicants have similar names with someone with a criminal record. My wife had FP request, but I didn't (my name is not common at all).

Hi all,

I am preparing my application for citizenship and have few questions-
1) Do I need to submit a police certificate from Canada upfront?
2) Can I show unofficial transcripts from Canadian school as proof of English proficiency?

Please help with your experienced feedback

hi all, I wrote the test yesterday (Jul 25) and checked ECAS today and saw decision made.
Immigration official indicated to expect an email from them in 30 - 90 days after my test.
thanks!
