folks, i just got my test invite today. And i am confusing about the CIT 0039 attachment following by the test invitation, which is about Prohibition of the Citizenship Act. It bascially says

By law, there are certain conditions (prohibitions) that prevent you from
becoming a Canadian citizen. Please read each of the following
prohibitions carefully.

And follow by 9 statements and need me to sign.

Q1. Does everyone got this form?
Q2. If Yes, should i sign it now or in front of the officer?

Thank you.

BTW, my test is on June 22. Please add me on the spreadsheet.

Hmm.. I got those on my oath letter but not the test invite letter, guess that's a good sign for you ;)

Good luck on your test!

Hi All

I sent in my application in November 2017 and it was received by CIC on Nov 20th but the processing started from Jan 26th .......The current status shows:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 20, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 12, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on January 26, 2018.

Questions:
1.Am i considered Nov 2017 applicant or Jan 2018 applicant?

2. Also does anyone know why there is this much gap between receiving and processing of the application?

3. When do you think I can expect the test invite?

Thanks a lot.

Dear friends,

Mu friend's application (January applicant, Kitchener) is in process since MARCH 14

he called CIC yesterday and was informed :

I think it’s better he changes the address so all future communications are directed to the new address + you need to inform cic every time there is a change in address.

Can Anyone tell me how the test will be? Everyone will have different questions? will it be on paper or computer.
