Sad to hear that... Do you have any guess about the reason why?

I have no clue. I have lived in Canada for more than 12 years. I got my Master Degree here in Canada and I have been working with a very respectful company for more than 7 years. I have always paid my taxes and in the last five years I have been out of Canada for only 130 days divided in more than 10 different trips.

This is extremely sad because my company is sending me to South America for an international assignment and I was hoping to take the citizenship test before I leave. I might be heading south in the next two months.

I received AOR on March 04, 2018
My current ECAS is "In-Process"
I received a letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on March 12, 2018 asking for additional information (Quality Assurance Exercise and Request for Additional Evidence)

This could be a good thing. I've a friend who just went through this and it ended up expediting everything for him. He felt like a VIP getting personal treatment from everyone. He reckons that the reason he was selected is that he may have missed including a trip in his travel declaration.

Can the admin update my status?

Went 'In Process' as of March 28-2018

My application's status has changed to In process on March 30th. I have applied on January 15th from Toronto. Please update the spreadsheet.

Thanks :)

I was wondering if there'd be a pause on IP's over the easter weekend, but this is an IP on Good Friday so I guess not!

Thanks! I hope I don't get stuck behind the huge amount of new applications in October and November. I actually reached my residency obligations early November but I realised as I was about to apply that I didn't have any way of proving my English skills and so I needed to take an IELTS test. Even though English is my first (and only) language!

Ah well, at least this isn't like waiting for PR where there was a risk of not being able to stay in Canada if the application takes too long. :)
Why do not you take the Government administered language test? rather than IELTS.
