January 2018 - Citizenship Applications

i sent my app on jan 6th...from the Ottawa-Gatineau area..should I start to worry?
anyone from the same area got their AOR?

I am on the same boat as you. Sent my application on Jan 8th from Toronto, it got delivered Jan 10th and no AOR yet. No need to worry. I would wait for another week or two and hopefully something happens. By that I mean either getting AOR or getting the application back in the mail for non-completion and in that case, I would make the necessary corrections and resend.

my mistake is that I sent it regular mail so I am not even sure it was delivered... but I can only wait now.

You should have sent it by registered mail..it takes upto a week to reach there. Hopefully u will hear something next week..i sent mine on January 13th from Ottawa and was received on the 15th. Yesterday I got AOR via email.. good luck
 
I have a question please help..yes yesterday I got AOR via email and this morning I checked my Ecas status, it say that they sent me the book yesterday alongside with the AOR but I didn't received it..am wondering if it comes by regular mail?

Appl send: 09 Jan
Received : 12 Jan
AOR: 19 Feb
City: Toronto

yea I realized after the facts...now kicking myself for it...I just hope it didn't get lost

You will not receive a book by mail unless you order it. There is also a link in your email where you can download it as well.
