Hi all,
I have been a silent reader on this thread since I submitted my application January of this year and I am almost at the end of my journey and would like to share with you my timeline especially for those waiting in Vancouver. Although they never requested for fingerprints, it took me a full year since I requested for a name change on my application and that set me back a couple of months. But it seems like the timeline for most people usually does take a full year from submitting your application to taking your oath of citizenship as I also have a friend who recently became a citizen this September and it took him 2 weeks short of a year since his application.
