I called ircc today to ask about the status on my application. The agent told me my medicals and criminal check has been completed now the eligibility check is going on and security check is left. Does anybody know anything about eligibility and security check how long is it gonna take. And what do they actually do in this process.

It differs case to case. Won't be able to predict. In CIC site, what you can see against BG check and in what stream you applied? You are the only applicant or do you have any dependents?
What stream? Do you have travel history? What's the status you see against BG check?

Just 1 police clearance
I cant check my BG because i hired a lawyer. And they have the access to it
Then you should be getting an update in 4 to 6 weeks I guess. All the very best.
Just now I called IRCC and talked to them to get to know the status on my application. They are not telling anything in detail like you said. They asked me to go with what updates I see from CIC website n I will be notified via email if there are any updates.
They also said 6 months are the waiting time.
I don't see the point of calling IRCC when your application is still within the nromal processing time for these days.
from AOR to PPR, its taking about a month to 2 months, don't think we should call IRCC before at least two months are over and you have been stuck on one stage for too long.

Correct. But, was curious to know the results in details like eligibility, criminality, security checks and what else is there in their process.

Congrats. Did u get any email notification on this status change? If So, email went to spam or regular folder?
