Hi all,

Due to so many threads on this forum I thought to start a thread specifically for those applicants that are on the same boat as myself waiting for Test Invite and or any improvement on their status whose applications were received by CIO in JANUARY 2018.

This is to make the comparison and monitoring status of applications that were sent same MONTH/YEAR and processing VISA OFFICE a lot easier.

I am a March 2018 applicant. In process since June 20. Located in Waterloo. As you can guess, no update yet. Its evident that Kitchener office is moving very slow. Someone indicated that few applicants from Oct / Nov 2017 are still awaiting test invite. Hope things move faster in next few months. Cheers!

I really do hope things will start moving forward for Kitchener VO.

Hi. Sorry to hear that. Please note processing times show how long it takes us to process 80% of apps, so about 20% will take longer. Processing times can be delayed due to many reasons: ow.ly/zigE30ig5GQ. Sorry we can't be of more help.

So, there is a 1 in 5 chance that one could take longer than 12 months
