Guys
Are eligibility and background check different ?
I mean if eligibility is passed and is their possibility that background check is still being processed OR it is assumed if eligibility is passed, BG is passed?

did you see something similar to my case? thank you
Even not applicant from Dec AOR is facing a similar situation, got the ghost Update and still waiting for the PPR. But most of the cases got the PPR email within maximum 48hours.

Eligibility and Background check are different.
Even if Eligibility is passed, still your Background check can be still under processing

Its again strange why most of them get a positive impact after the Ghost Update. But for a few it's just another ghost Update. Be positive... Fingers crossed.. :)

to be honest my application status hasn't really changed much since IP1. I called the CIC agent yesterday, and he told me that the docs I transmitted through CSE are now attached to my application, but nothing of that sort reflects on my CIC account. Moral of the story - The MyCIC account sometimes does funny things for no reason. Having said that in the past "ghost updates" have consistently been a positive sign. I have seen that a lot of times its a step closer to PPR. HTH!
