Hi guys,
I need your advice, i am FSW - Outland application with IP2 attained on Feb 27th. The twist is I am at 24 weeks in my pregnancy and most airlines won’t allow me to fly after 36 weeks. I am thinking of writing to IRCC and letting them know of my pregnancy and in lieu of that kind of nudge them a bit on their decision. I am thinking of waiting another 6 weeks if I get no update. What do you guys think? Should I write to them now or wait 6 weeks??
Guys looking forward to your advice. Many thanks

Just got an email from CIC that I have to renew my passport. Mine expires on December 31, 2018. My understanding was that as long as I have 6 months left on my exp. date, there won't be any problem. Am I wrong?

I wrote back to the visa office explaining that I would renew as soon as I get PR as it is very complicated for me to renew considering my circumstances (military service, age, etc.) Would CIC take this into a consideration to make an exception?

Thanks all!

It’s relavent.what I meant was previously when BCG whent into IP2 it was an indication that ppr will be sent in a day or two .now after the 27th feb update That does not seem to be the case .as with many applicants in many forums they all report that their REVIEW OF ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS goes To NA right before they get ppr mail.there may be exceptions .and this is simply my observation.

Got it! Thanks for clarifying...

I can't imagine why IRCC would expedite an application depending on 24 weeks vs 36 weeks of pregnancy. Once you get your PPR , you have till expiry of your medical results to enter Canada so that gives you enough time after giving birth. Maybe I don't understand your predicament entirely.

Hi,

Even my passport expires at Nov 2018. I have not received any emails so far.
Should I renew passport now without waiting for their email.

But my concern is, how do we notify them to consider new passport . Now a days we are not getting response to any of our emails .

Please advice.

We are planning on relocating before the baby is born. Hence at 36 weeks none of the airlines will allow us to fly
