250 days seem hell of a lot longer...Ofc it is case based, but still over 8 months is a long time to process the application. No?
Yes, a very long time considering FSW. Of course, that is a result of certain exceptions in the case. My guess is that CIC may be prioritizing clearing of old cases over comparatively newer ones

But new files which were submitted even after I did are being approved! My AOR is 11 January 2018. Seems like a distant dream now... :-(

An update from what's app group.

Two PNP-O applicants from India whose AOR is late Jan and Feb first week received their PPR email last week.
One claim to be from Ottawa VO while the other is unaware of it (Judging from the speed it should be Ottawa).

This is record speed for PNP applicants.

Take aways:
  1. Not all applicants will be handled by LVO, if the Ottawa feels the load, they will then send the applications to their respective LVO for processing.
  2. CIC is unpredictable w.r.t letting out PPR, it varies according to complexity of applications.
Now let's wait for our turn

This is good news for PNP applicants.

Yaa I agree with you...thats exactly what I was thinking that newer apps are getting processed and receiving ppr as well but no luck with our Apps yet? But nothing we can do except wait and watch..:(

The worst part is that I have to depend upon my lawyer for all these updates since he has linked my application with his email...Arrgh! I hate this wait and dependency...

The process is very straightforward and one can do it without involving a consultant except for complicated cases. Don't worry, you will receive your golden mail soon.

Don't worry.. your span of 56 days is pretty much in line with the median.. I know we feel it longer when some people get their files cleared much earlier. But hey, that's the law of large numbers for you :)

This is faster than many Jan FSW applicants
Yes indeed. PNP applicants always ponder over their processing time as 4 - 5 months is a norm.
Even medicals clearance used to gobble up 1-2 months which isn't the case lately. (Mine passed in 14 days).

This is a welcome change for many :)

@Jancy did you receive any updates on your application? Yours and mine are very similar cases from dates and requirements standpoint..

I am really struggling to understand how CIO, VO and LVO work ? My application as per the telecon yesterday is at Ottawa. I am FSWO, 29-01-2018 AOR and MEP 10-02-2018 while IP2 as of 27-02-2018. Does it mean anything to be at Ottawa after IP2 ? Is my LVO is also Ottawa? Shall I expect the process to be swift ? Can any friend shed some light ?

On an avg I have noticed that Ottawa office processes apps much faster...You should expect the golden email I would say SOON!

So that means my application will not go to any other office now ?? As in to London etc. ?? Shall I expect the decision to be made by Ottawa people?

Yep. If the docs suffice the requirement and the Ottawa office is satisfied with the verification then the app should remain with the Ottawa office..Unless they deem the app requires another review...
