Application recieved on 14 November , aor 1 30 January , SA 31 January , medical request 1 feb , 15 feb medical done , 18 feb additional documents required , 16 march uploaded, 10 April application transferred to LVO , and 25 april started processing

I’m from Ivory Coast living in Abidjan but lived in montreal from 2007-2009
Right now my file is still at Sydney
Maybe the reason we lived there is why our files are processed there ( Ottawa and Sydney )

I dunno man, I dont think there's really much ryhme or reason to how they process apps. I've tried to extrapolate a pattern from friends, forums and immitrackers but it's sort of all over the place from my perspective; some get ppr in a few days while for some takes months. I even got the bloody IP2 message twice Iol. I can't seem to shake this lingering feeling that some IRCC agents might just be watching videos of cats doing people stuff on YouTube and playing Candy Crush Saga (with audio) all day. But that's probably just my impatience throwing shade. I'm hopeful that we'll get the good news soon/eventually

That’s not a ghost update

A ghost update is when your status shows updated but there’s no change in your ECAS status. Yours was a real update.

Ok .i thought it was ghost update cz I was in ip2 since 2 months and I got an rprf request also about 2 months ago.

Yeah, if anything changes in your ECAS, it is a real update coz you can see a change. With a ghost update, your ECAS remains exactly the same with no changes at all. You will only see updated on the first page.

Just had a ghost update on my account. Nothing yet, but fingers crossed it's a good sign.
