Anyone know the average wait time between NA2 and PPR? or is IP2 where the delay in processing normally comes in ?
Good question.
I guess, average wait time can be anywhere between 30-45 days after NA2. I agree to the fact that major delays are happening at IP2 now. IP1 usually clears soon, unless an applicant's name comes up in CSIS database while criminality checks, that's when they ask for Canadian police clearance certificate or other documents. Sometimes, delays also occur for additional medical tests or unclear travel history before IP1.
As of now, IRCC officers have reached December 2017 applications for PPR. PPR's are being issued in less than 20 days after application submission too, But these candidates are lucky ones as some people even have to wait for 1-3 months after NA2 for their applications to be approved.
I was just going through the consolidated e-APR immitracker, latest PPR approvals were given yesterday to candidates who submitted applications in mid October and early November last year. Nearest PPR was issued to a December 13th, 2017 e-AOR applicant.
I hope this information was of help.
Thanks.
