Mine was received in Mississauage On Jan 06.. NO AOR, NO ECASE can't link my application too...

Same - January 4th they received it via UPS. Was able to link it today with name/dob. I put a space (just hit spacebar once) for Date of Birth. I put '2' in the number of applicants, even though it's just me and the sponsor.

I am able to link my application online but they're requesting another form 5669, the background/schedule A. I included this with my application, why do they want it again? I made sure it was validated with no gaps..it lets me submit it and upload it online though so I can easily do that.

How were you able to give spaces in the DOB fields ? are you talking about the city of birth column?

to answer your question about 5669, they want it online as per the new process, their Operational procedure says that this is to generate the GCMS notes faster.

Hi guys, I just got married to a Canadian Citizen and we are planning to apply for outland sponsorship, Im a US citizen, Do i have to change my name first to my husband last name, passport, ID or any documents before we submit application? Any thoughts is greatly appriciated.

I put Name, DOB. I skipped passport info and for City of Birth I hit spacebar once (didn't type city). I put '2' for number of applicants, even though it's just me (applicant) and sponsor.

No you don't need to change any names - just include your marriage certificate and all other requested forms.

If your surname is your ex-husband's one other than your maiden/original surname, then you might want to change it before submitting your application. This is highly recommended!

Hello! I've just submitted our application to sponsor my husband via Canada Post courier on Monday- should be received any day now. We used the old one. How long until I can link our paper app to an online account? Do they send you and email as soon as its receieved? And sorry, but what does AOR and ECASE stand for?

Just sent my application yesterday. Now its matter of time.

Has any Jan 2017 got AOR? how long is it usually taking to receive AOR

Was able to link application yesterday to CIC by creating a GCKey account and linking with Name/DOB. My wife and I used new forms and sent my Police certificate up front as well as my medical. Showing my medicals are passed and the CIC requested an electronic copy of form 5669 (Schedule A). I simply modified my previously saved form with the current dates and UCI/Application number, uploaded to the CIC website and now it's pending review.

Here's to hoping it goes fast! I'm an American so my process may be a little different from others.
