The dreaded RQ..... oh well. Guess I'll be bringing the average processing time WAY UP for January applications :(
Sorry to hear that :(

Any idea why an RQ was requested? Was there any sign of that during the test interview?

So, even after 25 days of passing the test, One can get an RQ request !!!

ok cool.
i will do that too.. in the options, it says you need to pay $5 and the other one is free.. so which one you selected?

thanks
You have a decision that has been made! Why do you need the ATIP document?
Have you tried calling IRCC?

I believe that they did not believe that I met the residency requirements (which is nonsense, I have 2000 days) but I travel a lot, I'm self employed, and I guess they felt I wasn't credible enough to take my word for it.

That's unfortunate - it seems that it's taking longer for them to send RQs... did you feel that was coming during the interview- did the officer promise you a timeframe for the oath like they usually do (xx months?)

I'm also seeing a good chunk of people that have done their tests since march, with no DM yet (unless the file is not updated). This is certainly our case (myself and my wife) as well - we took the test early May and nothing heard since then... usually DMs comes very soon (next day or so), not sure if this is normal... thoughts...

yeap i called them and they (because i called twice) said that wait for the oath invitation letter. but after my exam the officer told me to expect a letter in 4 weeks to two months, and its been three months now, the problem is i got an schedule flight on october, and my passport was expired and it tooks 3 months to have a new one, thats why im hoping to have an oath soon so that i can apply canadian passport which i believe 20 days processing only.

ohh thanks for the info..so, even my oath will be schedule on September(assume) i can still travel on OCtober..

The real waiting game starts after the tests!
Frankly, I am not in a rush. Have been a permanent resident since 2008 and just applied for citizenship in March. I intend to stay here forever, so if it takes a bit longer than that is fine with me. I am pleased that it seems to take less than a year. Would I have not found this forum than I would have not worried about processing times until March next year.
