Very simple, wait untill c 6 in effect and then apply, we have told u what we think, if u r sure why did u ask

It's not for me. I'm a citizen since 2004. I'm on this forum for my wife who will be eligible in a few months time.

Second, I was sharing my point of view based on my understanding. I wasn't drawing a conclusion. This is a public forum where anyone can share his questions, thoughts, comments. If my posts bother you, please ignore and move on.

hi guys I just found out that I lost the record of landing. anyone knows if you can apply without it? (don t want to wait 6 months..)

You need this. They need to make sure when you landed so if you don't have it, apply for Confirmation of PR form.

Yes it's six months but this should be when most cases are done. Could be quicker than that.

Hi All...I just have a question...I have been living in Canada since Dec 2012 and never went back to home except few trips to US. I will cover my 1460 days and 183 days each year by next 3 weeks and then apply for citizenship. If I go to my home country for a month after applying would that be a problem? What will happen if the letter for citizenship exam comes during my visit to home country and I miss it? Please share your expert opinion.

I think about one month should be fine,but don't forget to provide email ID and check emails everyday including junk mails,so you can keep track on any update and respond appropriately..good luck.

Did you guys check the 2016 tax year or you guys checked years for tax for 2012 to 2015?
It's too early to have done 2016 tax returns.
