Hi,

I have applied from Mississauga, no news yet. only processing and no test date? any people from Mississauga or GTA have received?

GTA here, had a good news this morning about my test date.

Woke up this morning and I saw this...

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 5, 2017.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover
Canada on January 17, 2017.


3. We started processing your application on January 31, 2017.

4. We sent you a notice on February 28, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 27, 2017 at 12:45 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hi everyone


I applied for citizenship in Jan 17 but I got a letter fp request I did it today and I was charge for a crime but never convicted can anyone please advise if it's gonna affect citizenship ? N how long will take to get the results to Cic?
