Hi!

Any tips for things to bring as it will be my first winter experience?
(And things not to bring esp in customs)

Anyone who has experience in homestay? As my agency wants me to try homestay for 2months then I can look for an apartment after that.

Anyone in Ontario (Niagara on-the-lake)? I want to have friends since I'll be going alone and without relatives! I'm only 21 years old from Philippines and want to experience to be an international student :)

Hi, you must be very excited! I would suggest you bring some thermal wear and warm clothes for the first days you get there. Then you can purchase everything else once you're there.

It would be nice to try homestaying for 2 months till you get your own apartment. That will give you enough time to select and know your neighborhood. You must have schoolmates looking for apartment too, so why not get a roommate to save money and have great company. :)

Thank you! ☺I am both excited and scared since it will be a whole different country. I often travel (alone sometimes) so I think I can survive.

I saw in your profile that you're visa got accepted too. Congrats! See you there :)
