August 4th ppr sent
Aug 8th ECAS changed to decision made
August 17th ppr returned with Visa

No interview requested or any other communcation really. Thanks to everyone on the forum, espeically those maintaining the spreadsheet. Great work

Wow! Record time... I've been surprised by CIC in the past, so I think that is entirely possible. Over the years, I've noticed when there are new laws, those who apply shortly after the new law get processed quicker. My take is those files probably get assigned to an officer right away. It's also possible they may have hired new officers and the files got assigned right away.

This was evident in 2011, when CPP-Ottawa began processing permanent resident applications. Many people who applied between June/August 2011 got their PR in less than 6 months and the processing times increased shortly after.

So somebody in the London thread had a decision made with PP photocopy request two weeks after sponsorship approval. I don't get that.

Could be one of those one offs that the VOs do to keep avg processing times down?

Wow lol, that's just gaming the system - not ethical.

I added you on the spreadsheet for the sake of sharing timeline information to others. Have a nice flight to Canada.

Hi. My status changed to In Process today.

It said they started processing on September 8th.

Please add this to the spreadsheet.

Thanks

Yeah, that's too bad. I thought you might get it today too as we have the same timeline. Also because I saw that 3-4 people went to in process September 2nd.

I hope this means all of my background/security/criminality checks are done, and only the genuineness of the r'ship is left to evaluate.

How is everyone doing? I am just worried that our (Mevers and me) application is not moving. I have almost the same timeline with Tabsie12 and Marticus.

Application Received: 23 Jan 2014
Sponsorship Approval: 28 February 2014
Passport Request: 14 July 2014
Received by Embassy: 17 July 2014
In Process: 13 August
Decision Made (The office will contact you concerning this decision): 1 September 2014 (Sept 2 here in Manila)

I have received a call on the same day telling me I need to submit ID photos. It is kind of weird because I remember sending photos to Mevers last January. I didnt argue with the person from the visa office. I asked if my application would take more time but he said he cannot answer my question. He just said I should send the photos immediately. So on the same day I had photos taken and sent. The courier sent me a messaged that the embassy received the photos Manila time Sept 3. I am just wondering why up until today there is no feedback whatsoever. Best of luck to all of us, guys!

My husband got his Confirmation of Permanent Residency by the mal, it was dated August 18th 2014. He will land On Sept 29th thanks you so much to everyone...Now if only I could find a checklist for all the things I need to do when he gets here... Do he get some documentation at the border, for the provencial health care, his social insurance number and all??? And if I have a child does my child becomes an american too? A lot of questions!!! I'm canadian and my hisband is American. I wanted to know if also his 401K will stay in the states until he turns 65?
