hi dmae,

they have received our application last january 3, 2014.
I received the passport request last July 8, 2014 but was only able to send it July 21.
My passport was received by the Canadian Embassy Manila last July 22.
So excited for the next email to come I am the applicant.

Ano status mo as of the moment (30-Jul-2014)?
Hope ours will come out soon

January 4,2014-sent my application to cic missausuga
January 8,2014- received by cic missausuga
February 18, 2014- CANADIAN IMMIGRATION ACCEPTED MY HUSBANDS SPONSORSHIP
aPRIL 4,2014- sent application for quebec immigration
April 17, 2014- Quebec immigration accepted our application
JUne 20, 2014- contacted cic about my application status
July 4,2014- Immigration requested my original passport and other documents
July 17, 2014- Embassy of canada, manila have received my original passport and other documents

at the present i am waiting, excited to have my visa very soon, i am hoping that i will be one of those lucky applicants to have express way due to to typhoon yolanda and the earthquake of 7.2 here in my province.

My husband is waiting for me there in our new home sweet home, he is a quebecois.

Do you have an idea how long will it takes for your visa or passport will be return after embassy requested it from you? me and my husband are so excited for the news to come. i guess when embassy requested for your original passport theres no problem anymore with your application isnt? what do you think??

my husband grew up in quebec pero nakapag work sa BC kaya doon na sya ngayon.
pero dahil magiging base mo ang quebec, matututo ka ring magsalitang quebecois... 3 languages na kaya mong salitain soon nyan!

doon sa isang forum, na observe ko na between 3 weeks to 3 months ang response time after ma-receive ng embassy ang passport, depende sa iba't ibang factors.

lesser waiting time na lang yun as compared sa mga previous processes
let's pray that everything would went well for all of us

tama ka im very eager to learn their own french language, im eager to study and speak this language so i will belong their community. Their language is very important and i see it as a big opportunity for me.
