I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM CIC THAT VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED... WOOOHOOOOOO!!!

I've been so worried since yesterday as i got a message on mobile but no email. ANDYSINGH IS RIGHT, I GOT EMAIL JUST NOWWW!!! ONE DAY AFTER PASSPORT DISPTACH!!

I am Computing Student and i have done HND(Higher National Diploma) in computer science recently which is equal to 14 years bachelor study in Pakistan. I havn't appeared for IELTS yet plus my statement is also not ready . Still HR consultant told me that you can apply for january intake and asked me to make bank statement of 30 lacs pkr as soon as possible and maintain it for 3 months . I am going to give IELTS exam on 21 October . I wonder Is it right for me to go for January intake 2014 ?? Or May 2014 intake will be better for me ??
Guys please help

May intake will have very few choices brother..

Hi Folks,

I am going for Marketing and Research based courses only - Jan 2014.
As it perfectly compliments my education as well as my work experience.

I have an unconditional offer from Centennial.
Waiting for GBC and Georgian.
GIC application is sent, no account number recieved as yet.

Will choose from whatever I have in hand and will apply for VISA by October end.

I was not rejected before. I directly applied under general category since I could not get the medical appointment for another 2 weeks from the day I decided to file my visa application. Since medicals is mandatory under SPP, I went ahead with general category. GIC was also not mandatory under general.

I have applied for a University in Canada. I will get the answer very soon. What I would like to work on is to find out the pros & cons of applying for my family (Wife + 2 year old daughter). I want to apply for them along with me.

1. How much should be the bank statement?
2. What additional paper work is required?

Not sure, but may be because you have already done a PG Diploma and now applying for a PG certificate, which is a level lower and hence not in a logical progression....seniors can say better..

I'm going to apply for PG diploma for Jan intake , have IELTS 6 over all .

My last education was in 2009 MSc in International Marketing from Sheffield Hallam Uni. England.
Have relevant work experience in U.K. And in India .

I have two dependent my wife and kid. Who are not intent to travel with me will it make sense to visa officer for reason for strong tie to country ?
