I got the test invite for 2nd week of Nov,2014. I noticed in the test letter is that it says if my test and interview are successful, OATH will take place immediately and they have also included the CIT0024 form with the test invite. Is this normal process?

My time line:

Application received Jan 13th 2014.
Started process on Mar 14th 2014.
Test date: 10 Nov,2014
Local Office Montreal

I am not from Montreal however I have read expreience of few Montreal applicants who recently got the test and oath on the same day . I believe its a new change in the processing .

Do you live more than 2.5 hours drive from your local office ?

This is my parnts in law timeline:

Application received Jan 10/2014
In process : March 27/2014
Interview : Aug 10
Oath : Oct 18/2014

Scarborough office

Is the timesheet completely messed up? I just saw an oath date corresponding to my application! I didnt know I had an oath already ;)

So, is this completely useless now?

I am certain someone already has responded to the following enquiry; however, I would like to know the latest experience. Please do not mind.

What do you expect on a citizenship test day in Mississauga CIC? I applied in January 2014 and I received the test letter yesterday. What I can visualize is that, I will write the test in the morning, see a citizenship official who will give me the marks and he/ she will go over my supporting papers (e.g. copy of the forms I sent for application, copy of PR card, two pieces of IDs, copies of CRA NOAs, employment letter, past records of employments, passports, copies of passports, air tickets I used to came/went in/out of Canada in the past 4 years). What else? Can you advise anything else I should consider bringing with me? I am a sole applicant.

When do they tell you to come for oath and citizenship ceremony - after the test and verification of papers (considering everything went okay)? How long usually the waiting time between test and oath ceremony in Mississauga CIC?

I really appreciate your time friends.

I passed my test today and took oath also, all went smooth and process completed in less than 2 hours.(In montreal)

My wife received the letter for test today, test is set for Nov 26 in Scarborough. She had taken a small vacation for 3 weeks and we had called in to report her absence. Pleasantly surprised how this was taken into consideration and booked for her test right after her return.

The second step is done ... Passed my test in Quebec City yesterday Nov. 18 with perfect score (20/20)

I was told by the agent that it might take a few months before the oath..... now another round of waiting begins :)

Hey,

I just called CIC to check my application status. They told me that you still have to wait for your test, however the last update on my profile was my RCMP clearance which was received on April, 14, 2014. Here is my timeline:

Citizenship ~ Single application
Local Office: Calgary
Date Received: Jan 30, 2014
Date Processing Started: March 18, 2014
Local Office Received: April 8, 2014
RCMP Clearance Received: April 14, 2014

I know that Calgary office is the slowest in the entire country, so just check my timeline as the worst case scenario ;)
