Hello everyone,

Good to see many experienced members here. I am July 2014 applicant. I haven't heard anything from CIC yet (too early I think). I just want to ask one question - when I sent my application I did not write "N/A" where it was blank. Will that cause any trouble? Please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

@AmPal

You don't need to worry at all as this is something very common, CIC will not return your application just because of it.

Just Chill.....

Hello People.

I have one question , i just got the test date today from mississauga office for August 27th 2014. And they want me to bring all passports and expired passport. Is it for last 4 years of forever, cause i have been traveling since i was 12, and have almost like 8 expired passports.

Also can some one guide me through the Interview process in Mississauga Office, what to expect????
And if i pass the test will i be given an oath date right there? i heard in some cases people took oath same day as test is that true?
Here is my Time Line,

Application Received Jan 27,2014
Started Processing : March 15, 2014
Test Date Arrived Today: August 27,2014

Good luck to all of you in your journey!!

First, there will be the Test. If you pass it, you will get a notice to attend the OATH a few weeks later. You do not get the Citizenship right at the time of passing the test.

Spoke to a CIC agent today. My application is complete and in line for the test, however, I had to ask for a change in local office.

This is going to set me back 3 months (that's how long they said it can take to transfer a file).

Was there a reason why you asked for a change in local office and which?

Yah, I am actually an out of province student. Instead of sending my file to the local office closest to me, they sent it to the office linked with my province of residence. I won't be able to make it there once the semester starts, so I asked them to transfer. It won't make much of a difference because both offices are super slow... (my file has been in queue for the test since April... to give you an idea of how slow things are).

After how long they sent it back? And when you re-send it after how many days you got notification for test??

Thanks pmehley
