January 2014 Citizenship Application - Timeline

finally I see an update :

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 8, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 8, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on March 6, 2014.

Guys it seems they update on weekends as well. I checked yesterday (Saturday) and saw nothing but today it showed! Perhaps they may have some delays in updating.

I saw the update today, I applied in 2nd week of Jan
If we have provided the email, should it not be delivered by email rather than mail?

They generally send discovery Canada book (physical copy) and a receipt stating that money was received.

No I applied on jan 2,2014 and they received my courier on jan 7th.... Still nothing on ecas or in mail

My Application was received on 15-jan-2014

So far no update in ecas, i checked with my client_id.
Since mine is a family application, do we see updates for each family memeber indpendetly?

Congrats man I applied on jan 3 still no responce I called cic they said they don't have any info as they are opening dec files. Is any one here from Alberta ??
