Hi there, sorry I couldn't find this particular topic out there although I am sure it is!

My CIC Application Status (to Nova Scotia) still says PNP Application received January 2014 and then "medicals received"..............nothing more!

We had our medicals done June 2014; sent some additional info April 2014 - think we are all good!

But I am hearing nothing!!!

Am I missing something?

I actually mailed my application into CIC in December 2013, "We received your application for permanent residence on February 8, 2014."

Since then, I've had medicals (May) and RFPR Fee (August) and still nothing.

At least we are all in the same boat...

At least that is nice to know we are all the same !

I finally got an email this week (from Nova Scotia) as a reply to an enquiry in Oct 2014!

It said they could not answer my question as my file was now at the Ottawa Case Processing Centre - that has to be good yeah?

In a bit of a dilemma as I want to move work wise (so I need to update my work permit) my son wants to upgrade a graduation subject at school (he is now 18 so needs a study permit) and he wants a summer job (so needs a work permit) and when we bought our house in December 2014, our Lawyer gave us the wrong information so I now have a $3,400 BC Property Transfer Tax demand that is only payable if I DON'T have my PR!!

Aaahhhh

Does anybody know how long things would take from the file being with Ottawa Case processing centre?

Jan 2014 - Application Received
Apr 2014 - RPRF Fee Received
June 2014 - Medicals Received

I'm going grey in the process! I hate being in limbo :(

Thank you

You are in your 15th month. Try a few things..Followup with your MP..mostly email correspondence works. They will track for you on couple of days. Highlight your hardships. Order GCMS notes to get an idea if there are any comments in ur file. I would say your file is somehow stuck for no reason and a tap from your MP may help. All the best.
