The missus has just called me to report she has received the AOR e-mail... it was dated 6/2/2013. Nice to see a wee bit of progress.

It seems that there is a lot of action going on! the spreadsheet looks great with all the AORs and approvals received... and it's going quite fast compared to the 55 days posted on the website - good news!

I had my first Canadian doctor appointment today. So weird........ so so weird.

Congrats all! Canada Post is unable to verify whether my package was delivered. They know it was scanned on Matheson at 5:00 am on January 30 but that was the last time it was scanned. I will have to wait for my AOR or sponsorship approval before I know if it was received because CPC Mississauga receives too many packages to be able to know whether they got mine! Stressful but I'm just thinking positive and waiting to hear! :'(

Ottawa is taking over some files from VOs that are a bit overwhelmed, so yes, it's a good thing! hopefully you'll have a shorter processing time than Beirut's average!
