check this out guys. I was browsing then nabasa ko yan, na-shocked lang ako. she was saying they submitted their app Feb9 the got sponsor approval March12. This can't be happening. Pano nangyari nauna pa ung Feb batch??? OMG!

hi sis.
i dont know if she's saying the truth..

check her last post nlang. :)ty

Hi everyone sorry to hear the frustration with all the waiting on the sponsor approval. Everyday seems an eternity when expecting something but not hearing any information back.

We received our ppr today in a strange way. Our consultant in canada recieved the ppr and also requests for a couple additional original nso documents in one letter dated march 12, while my wife and i received a separate letter with even more additional requests here in the phils dated march 14th.

The second letter sent on march 14 to us is the strange one. They are requesting things we all ready sent like the timeline of my wife since 1995 and also proof of the ending of my commonlaw relationship with my ex in canada 5 years ago. CEM is asking for a divorce certificate or death certificate which is not possible for me to produce as she is not dead and we were never married to get a divorce.

Previously before filing our consultant had me sign a declaration of commonlaw separation and notarized witch was included in the application and according to the information i have it is all that is normally required.

Has anyone heard of CEM asking additional proof of a commonlaw relationship ending and if so what kind of proof can i show?

We are thinking maybe CEM didnt see the form in the application or maybe it was left in mississuaga or maybe we forgot to include it.

Good luck to everyone

I STRONGLY suggest they made an error in the dates. I think the processing for sponsorship is pretty consistent in the 55 to 70 days range. It depends on the backlog at the time. Remember 1000's of applications so the queue builds and shrinks. Also it depends on how simple or complicated each application is.

Hello...interesting situation you have. Ok first. I believe that when VO issues a PPR request or any other request for documents, they continue to process your application as much as they can until they can't go any further without your requested documents. So the first letter is the standard first document check over and request for PP. They processed couple more days then had a concern about your former common law relationship. Its possible Mississauga didn't send ALL the documents to Manila or got misplaced etc. That should be easy to replace and send. Your proof of commonlaw ending....wow....good question. If you are still friendly with the ex commonlaw partner maybe you can get a signed statement from them. If not. How about at least the new address & phone # etc of the ex partner and how long they have lived there apart from you. Has the former partner married since? That would be helpful to show some evidence of that. Can you get another signed declaration and resend it? Possibly Manila did not receive it from Canada. If not possible your consultant will need to contact CIC in Canada to track down your signed declaration or advise further how to proceed without it. Good luck with this one, you may need a little patience to clear it up, but I shouldn't think it would be an overall problem.

i know! kaya usapan namin ni hubby na hindi na muna namin pag-uusapan ang anything about sa application until after the holy week unless by some miracle eh may mareceive na kami na approval. so sponsorhip-free ang aming conversation for two weeks. hehe

wow, three weeks nang nasa January 25.. hay i feel so spent already with all this waiting, parang wala na ako energy isipin... tatahimik na lang muna ako... pag may mga update kayo for the spreadsheet please PM me na lang po..
