congrats pelipeli i think that is a good sign and i think it means they are starting to work on your application! today my husband's Indian address also is showing on ecas, which was not there before. his status still says application received also. im not sure how long it will take to go into process though after this?
good luck! :)

hi guys, I noticed my hubby's ecas , his Philippine address showed up , i think it wasn't there before.. Is this a good sign? Did this happen to anyone before and got good news after that happens? status is still application received though..

hi peli for us the address appearred maybe a week after medical results received, soon after the sponsor approval; the status is still "application received" not in process; what's urs?

one more thing: it appearred both the mailing and the residential address for both the sponsor and the applicant in the same time (same update)

of course any sign it's good sign but i don't know how i should interpret it, i'm not even sure that the file reached the embassy; also keep in mind that each embassy is different with a different way of work; the only good thing is that the address was entered correctly in their records ;)

When I noticed the address on my husbands ecas, we got an AOR the same day. They've started working! Congrats!

Thanks missmini! hmmm well if I log in my ecas, my canada address is showing, but its been there since I was able to log in on May 1.
On may 4, "med results received" showed up for applicant, both on our ecas
PPR May 16, May 18 PP received by embassy , and its only today that hubby's Philippine address appeared but on his ecas only, meaning on my ecas, its my canada address showing at the top.

You're right missmini, the different VO's have different ways of doing it, but I take it as a good sign coz it means someone out there is working on it =)

pelipeli - It has happened to me too. My ecas is showing the the Indian address now even though it is still Application Received. I am really curious what that means.

Congrats!!! Start packing your bags :)

I have an address-appearance question, please. So, we applied Sept 2011- long story short- Dec. we found out our application was being finalized, etc. I had no address appearing on ecas. Today, I check it and it has my US address listed as my mailing address. However, there is no "home address" listed at all as others have reported seeing on their ecas update. Anyway, does this appearance of any address mean ANYTHING at all or am I just getting stupidly excited for nothing? ;)

Hi guys :)

Well my COPR hasn't arrived yet but my e-cas says "DECISION MADE: A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." ... They had my home and mailing address showing at the top of my e-cas and it only said the town and province and nothing more, strange, so I fixed that.
When we crossed back into Canada yesterday they said they could see on their computer that my PR has been approved, so that's good! :)
Now I excitedly await my COPR, yay! :)

Finally, some changes on our ecas. It saying 'we started processing on June 5.' Still no PPR, but this certainly is a welcome change after waiting for more than 2 months for any update.

Congrats!

Have you already paid the RPRF? Or will you pay it after PPR?
