Yesterday's update has bummed me out! I have to add another week to my ticker and it will probably get worse. =(

You never know. Don't get too discouraged. It really seems to be rather random about who gets their approval WAY before the estimated processing time, and who gets it (sometimes: WAY) after.

One day, it will happen in any case. But I know how you feel at this point. It's such a long wait! >:(

I'm with you guys...the wait its hard for all of us, sometimes I wish that he would still be in the states where he can work and be happy instead of being at home all the time...how are all your spouses handling it?

Friends don't trust ECAS because my recent status about WE STARTED PROCESSING ON 23rd MARCH was only able to see in april and i remember date was 25th APRIL after month they updated status .....Normally Status must be updated on same day or max with delay of week right but 1 month OMG

We are both in east Asia. We came here specifically so we could be together during the process and work. It's not the same as your situation, but it's hard being so far away from other family and friends and in a country that you're not wild about.

I am really looking forward to going home!

It's the same here. Stuck in the house.....there is only so much cleaning one can do lol :) Don't get me wrong, I get to get out, visit with friends, etc, but it just doesn't feel the same without having "full"privileges. Besides, there is that ever-constant thought in the back of your head saying "maybe today will be the day" etc.......Unless they are going through the process, people just can't understand how difficult it is. However, I suppose I am lucky because there could be far worse things happening. Our time will come soon :)

Thanks everyone, its a relief to see some "movement". Hopefully we receive PPR soon.. Good luck to the rest still waiting for news on stage 1, it will come soon.

confused and trying to log into ecas...please help!!! :o :o :-\ :-\
this is what it says under "client application status" and my name after i put in all my details and press "submit"

"If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status."

it asks me to check this? i dont think i should, because then i wont me able to check my status on ecas?

[click here] "Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application on this Web site.
Note: Once you withdraw your consent, your application status will no longer be available on the Internet. Learn about other ways of receiving information about the processing and status of your application by contacting us."

"Submit"
"Logout"

when i press submit without checking that box in front of that statement, it says this

"This form is incomplete. Please provide the necessary information below, then send your request again.
You must select the check box to remove consent.

If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status."

there is nothing to click n the "underlined status"...only my name comes up...what should i do? i know pelipeli was able to log in ecas today and got approval on the same day...all the details are there including the date CIC missisauga recieved application and "medical results received" at visa office...why is this not on my ecas now?

thanks and good luck! :)

Hi ashunandal, I see this on mine too, but i dont do anything to it coz if I do I will not be able to access my status thru ecas again.

If you were able to enter ecas (after putting in UCI, surname, bday, birthplace) you will have the Client Application Status window and see :

Update this home address
If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status.

Sponsorship Application(s)

Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status
*********(name of applicant) Decision Made Application Received

You will be able to click on the blue font above to see the details (this is the underlined status).

If you click Decision Made, this is what appears on a different window/screen:

We received your application to sponsor ******** on January 25, 2012.

We sent you a letter on May 1, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Note that I used my (sponsor) UCI number to log in. I think there will be a difference on the details you see if you use the applicant's file number / application number. Hope this helps =)

thanks for your reply, pelipeli! :) can you please tell me what you did when you had the same problem? we tried at least 10 times and we are getting the same window. only my name (sponsor) and the box to click for cancelling my consent to use ecas. :o :o :o should we wait for a few days and what do you think the problem is?
thanks again and good luck! :)

Oh , not even your address? Maybe you should wait it out a few days , I guess it was just a "partial" update or upload of your info , check again later today.. Or try logging in using the file number given to you and the applicant's details. At least now you can log in.. Was this the first time?
