YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!, SPONSORSHIP APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!, ;D. My sponsor received our Approval Letter from Ottawa yesterday!, thank god!, it's been a long wait!, I'm just glad that part is done. As my sponsor lives in Quebec, the next step is for her to send off the CSQ FORM which I have already completed and she has with her. Just a question, does anyone know how long this CSQ step would take?, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take all that long for them to make a decision. After that they forward our application to the Sydney Visa Office for further processing. Does anyone know what month I'd be looking at for this all to be completed?, just wondering what are the different steps that our involved in this process.

Congrats. I checked with Imm.Qc and they said its within a month, but I have heard from a few people who applied for CSQ and they received it within 2 weeks. So hopefully its the latter..

loool didn't u say that u stop checking for a few days ;D anyway the quaterly update was done around 20-30 April but usually they put it online around 2 weeks after....take it from someone who followed many quaterly updates : sooo b patient

hahhahaa, i didnt know that you will remember that :-\ :-\. i was just joking, you know that its impossible to stay away from here. actually i tried to login ECAS also (10-20 times ) but didnt work.

its very hard especially for us because we are not working, waiting full time for my PR :-\ :-\. nowadays its very hot here in India so visiting is not possible and we are on the forum for almost 15 hrs/day :-X :-X.

I hear ecas is updated every Tuesday. That's why I was able to log in on May 1 right before I got the sponsorship email. But it still says Application Received under Sponsor, until now.
So I guess when they update next Tuesday, You will be able to log in already and we will both see Decision Made .. That's my guess.. hehe

Good luck to you too, I will definitely check your updates coz we both got approval at the same time and ND and Manila VO's have more or less the same processing times as I have observed.

I sent my passport through DHL to New Delhi High Commission today...I don't know if I really can send it or not...I don't know what is going to happen next....so, i decided to take a risk and send it....lets see what happens.....I am scared though.....i hope it reaches the commission safe.....

Good luck. It will turn all out well. if you lose your passport, you can have another one made through US Embassy in DC. I had mine renewed there when I was in states. Make sure you keep a copy of your nagarita though.

Well, I think I am the oldest outstanding sponsorship application from January. Any advice from anyone? I'm not even in their system yet. I have made an appointment to go to my MP's office on Tuesday, but that is still so long from now.
