They only care about the sponsor's intent to move. You'll get the visa soon so maybe you could get a rental agreement?Amoss said:yes, you're right! I do not want to fear this request! I want to look at it positively for sure 8)
Interesting. Why not the primary applicant? Do you know?canadiangirl78 said:They only care about the sponsor's intent to move. You'll get the visa soon so maybe you could get a rental agreement?
Well they know the primary applicant will move because they want a visa. They won't give the PA a visa unless they're sure the sponsor will move back to Canada with them and support them. Job offer, lease, etc.Amoss said:Interesting. Why not the primary applicant? Do you know?
aha! ;D thanks makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply toocanadiangirl78 said:Well they know the primary applicant will move because they want a visa. They won't give the PA a visa unless they're sure the sponsor will move back to Canada with them and support them. Job offer, lease, etc.
Do you see in process on ecas?Amoss said:aha! ;D thanks makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply too
nope. still says the same thing as before. only thing that's changed since it got to step 2, was about a month ago now, our mailing address popped up on my husband's ecas (the primary applicant)canadiangirl78 said:Do you see in process on ecas?
looool surprised to see that moufette is one of his first words; that and the swears i guess funny how ppl first catch the swears in any languagecgagnon said:I'm glad I made 2 people laugh yesterday!! My husband will be taking french classes as well but I can tell you that they learn a lot by just being around us.... For example my husband learnt real quick that MOUFETTE meant SKUNK after the dogs got sprayed twice in the middle of winter you see on hand learning goes a long way ;D
That gives me hope. I don't see in process either and I feel so anxious.Amoss said:nope. still says the same thing as before. only thing that's changed since it got to step 2, was about a month ago now, our mailing address popped up on my husband's ecas (the primary applicant)
loooool i wanted to ask the same thing woow we don't have in process either but his address did show maybe 3 weeks ago and then it was changed (some lines removed ) altgough i hope in the file it's still the correct one; wooow could it b possible that they started processing ours too ??!i guess i need to speed up the job search, our cvs, plus gather more proofs, just in case wooow lots to doAmoss said:nope. still says the same thing as before. only thing that's changed since it got to step 2, was about a month ago now, our mailing address popped up on my husband's ecas (the primary applicant)
also because if a pr resides with the canadian cizitizen spouse outside canada that pr still keeps the residency status; they cannot apply for citizenship but they won't loose the residency; that's also why they r so keen in making sure that the sponsors do actually move :canadiangirl78 said:Well they know the primary applicant will move because they want a visa. thanks, missmini! I am glad we got something. I mean I understand why some ppl think it is a downer (i.e. more work for us, and maybe slows down our processing time) but I am taking it as it means it's in process, I mean it's in motion! Plus, like canadiangirl78 wrote, with no "in process" on ecas and no word... you start to wonder, so at least I know someone has looked at it enough to assess our lack of proof! hamissmini said:loooool i wanted to ask the same thing woow we don't have in process either but his address did show maybe 3 weeks ago and then it was changed (some lines removed ) altgough i hope in the file it's still the correct one; wooow could it b possible that they started processing ours too ??!i guess i need to speed up the job search, our cvs, plus gather more proofs, just in case wooow lots to do
