Good day everybody i am happy to share my news here with you we filled the application on august 2011 they returned our application twice cause we missed undertaking at first time and second we missed income tax forms we filled them and send it back to missisagua again i checked my application status and decision made on 16 april and that they sent us letter about our sponsorship application but still we have not recieved it yet, when do you think i recieve it ? thanks for your share

If CIC-M is sending your the approval letter by regular snail mail, and if you are in Canada then it should not take more than a week to receive the mail. If your mailing address is outside of Canada, then it might take longer.

In our case, we had provided them our email addresses and we have been receiving all communication via email instead of snail mail, which is way quicker.

thanks maria the mailing address is in canada where my wife lives so today it has been 7 days after they sent letter to us thank you for your reply.

Hi everyone, I got approved today and our application was sent to Manila Embassy. we applied Jan 23rd and the email was dated April 23rd from Ottawa.

Thanks! i really hope so too..on Friday when I called an agent told me they may have sent the application back to me and caused me so much stress..and today I got the approval email. I really wanted to phone them back and yell at that agent but I'm too happy and in such a good mood i won't call.
