Jan 2023 Intake Still waiting for Visa please gather here

Hi All , i dont know how long this is gonna take. I got my file submitted on 29th Oct. Medical Passesld 17 Nov. Since then its showing eligibility review. I am getting worried now. I have already defered to May intake. I have a good gap in studies and also 4 tourist visa rejections. Is it taking time because of this issue. I have filled my case very delligently but dont know whats taking too long.
Is someone with similar situation.

Visa rejections as long as declared are not a reason for taking long. Raise a webform and ask for updated. Eligibility review is underway so should get an answer soon.

Thanks @Naturgrl but my agent says not to rsise web form as this may lead to refusal sometimes.

Your agent is very wrong. A webform has not bearing on refusals.

Previous refusals sometimes expose you to thorough screening. However thats not for everyone. Raise a case specific inquiry and you ll get a reply.

I also deffered to may and sent web form to advise the same with new acceptance , i may have to wait for Visa until May intake ?

So you mean that its already late and i should have got some reply by now. I applied Oct 29th Medical passed 17th Nov. Since then Eligibility Review. Sent

Everybody has their own luck. Abu Dhbai VO office recommends most of its applications from pakistan to Security screening (SS). And its like they push to IRCC Limbo.
based on my observation they process SDS streams in time and Non SDS with a lag. And even if a SDS case defers to next intake they throw it to SS.
but like i said best of luck. Not everyone is going to suffer with same fate.

I informed CIC on Jan 16th that i have deferred to May 2023 intake. I got auto reply but nothing after that.
