Hi All,
Is it safe to start jan session with an AIP?
Full approval is not coming anytime soon considering the backlogs. I have submitted my study permit application in the month on May.
Medical shows as passed on 20th of July and I have also done my biometrics.

more than 60,000 aips issued
many tens of thousands enrolled and started classes.
why are you still doubting the aip system?

All of us have been asking this question ourselves many times over the last year.
Some said yes to themselves; and started the program!
And some said no to themselves; and deferred the program!

Confirm with your college/Uni. As far as I know, Jan intake doesn't have AIP system. Is the AIP you received for Sept. intake? If that's the case, I don't think it'll be valid for Jan intake.

Anyways, confirm with IRCC and college if starting with AIP is allowed and also the refund policies too.

Might had helped if you had attended the info sessions regarding AIP.

From an intellectual standpoint it's 99.99%

AIPs received through BELA are controversial
I think I will start can't delay any further. As fas as I know I didn't change any information(eligibility) after getting an AIP. So only admissibility will be checked and I think I will just be fine. Although, refusals were there but there were less as compared to the large number of approvals.

Majority of the DLIs give full refund if refused while studying online if not try to defer one more time. You are on top of the queue anyway March/May files are recently getting OPRs and myself being a May applicant received OPR on Dec 02 after doing my biometrics ( Dubai ) on Nov 25th .

Large influx of July files are getting their medicals updated right now, lots of movement happening on the SDS side .

100% aip is allowed. colleges are clearly saying
aip = pass eligibility which doesn't change once passed.
obviously don't cite 3-4 cases it does. exceptions are always there
99% take your chance and st
