a friend of mine who is also a Calgary applicant got his test invite on Friday for July 16. He is not on these forums though. seems like they have started to issue test invites to Calgary January 2018 applicants

I really really hope sooo.. Calgary has been slow so far... From what I have observed on the tracking sheet, they started sending invites from the east first..

Anyone received invites for tests recently from the Calgary office? I was looking at the 2018 tracking sheet and the most recent invite is July 19. Has it been silence for everyone since then?

Please note that there barely have been any test invites at all for any location in the most recent weeks. There is most likely a very easy explanation for this: Due to summer vacations, the offices are short-staffed. Plus, there don't seem to be a lot of tests in August anyways, so even if you were invited now, the test would be in September.

I just called CIC and I was told my background check was done and everything passed back in March. Its August now and I am still waiting for the test invite. Calgary is really slow right now.

Jan 2018 Calgary Applicant as well. Went to IP on April 26 and no test invite or FP request.

I check ECAS periodically hoping for some good news but nothing just yet. Hopefully come September the processing will pick up.

The wait continues....
