Congratulations on your OATH invites. Is any of your office Scarborough ?

I'm still waiting for my oath letter to come in the mail for those details. I'm hoping that it will be here in town, instead of having to either drive, or fly back south. Especially with concern for my better half.

Update:

I recieved a letter for oath taking ceremony today and ecas has been updated too. Cheers!

5. We sent you a notice on October 20, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 5, 2015 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Congratulations mjh49783aa. Cheers!
You guys are next in line. ; )

Its hard to believe from my end...I applied a few days before you and I still didn't get invited for the test even.

Thanks!

Technically, Harper is still the PM, but that government is now in caretaker mode as they prepare for the transition of the new government. When it's nearly complete, Harper will go to the Governor General to announce his resignation. After that, the Governor General will then ask Justin Trudeau to form the new government, and he will become Prime Minister at that point.

Sorry to hear that tds69, I feel the same way too when I saw others getting their test ahead of me, but what can we do, every case is different. I have a friend who was from September batch and still waiting for her oath, can you imagine how depressing is that? Her case is pretty straight forward too. Just hold on and your test invites will come in the right time. Cheer up. ;)

Likewise, I'm sorry to hear that as well.

I think there's been a few people that got their applications in after me that have already received their citizenship certificates. I just concern myself only with my process. I can't do anything about the others.

I have test invite for Oct 29, the ecas states the letter was sent October 14, but I'm yet to get any letter

I would call the CIC call centre if I were you. The number is: 1-888-242-2100. You should definitely have received your test invite letter by now.

What you should do, is call the call centre, (Their hours are 8-4 Monday thru Friday.) speak to an agent, let them know of the situation, and to find out where the test is going to be. The person there will tell you all of the stuff that you need to bring to this appointment, as well as where you need to go,

I never got a test letter myself, so I ended up calling the call centre to learn where I had to go, so I could make it in order to take the test.

Don't wait on this.

Good luck!

I haven't received my oath letter yet, but after talking with the CIC agent over the phone, I just learned that my citizenship ceremony will be happening at the same place where I had my citizenship test. In Scarborough.

Time for me to start making the necessary hotel and travel arrangements.
