We are a family of 2 from Toronto.

We sendt our application mid January and this is the last line in ECAS:

"Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 8, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you."

It's been exactly 4 months now and no changes at all. :(

I've had to wait about 5 1/2 months before I was invited to write the test. Some are still waiting.

It's the process, unfortunately. What else can we do?

Test Done yesterday ,,,,, was quite easy after that have to wait for interview as some interviewer taking almost 30min with each applicant luckily mine interview seems little easier ask question about my current job and if your job or employer has been changed since u applied they want there contact #, and they want to match your passport stamps with your entry/exit residence sheet u submitted and also with there copy of ATIP, at the end told me to wait for the Oath,,,, hoping to get it soon but nothing else....

I gave my test on 20th August and my application still in process. I am not sure when they will change that decision made and I will receive oath letter.

Just wait patiently. A status change from "In Process" to "Decision Made" can sometimes be meaningless. I took my test exactly 3 months from today and my status changed 3 days later to Decision Made, but still no oath letter. Some people get oath letters while still "In Process". For certain, it will be over soon or later. Good luck all of us who are still waiting ...

I've been 'decision made' since the 4th of September. I swear, waiting for the oath letter to come is pretty nerve-wracking. Tomorrow will be the fifth week of that 4-8 week wait that the interviewing officer had told me to expect.

It might be possible that you're 'decision made' already, and they just forgot to update it online. All we can do in the interim is wait.

Finally got my oath ceremony update on ECAS:

Below is the Timeline:

Application Received January 15, 2015.

Acknowledgement received on March 3, 2015.

Processing started on May 20, 2015.

Received a notice on July 29, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 18, 2015.

On Oct 08 ECAS updated saying 'the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held in SASKATOON on November 10, 2015'

:D :D :D

Best of luck to fellow applicants who are waiting for test and oath ceremony invitations !

I have passed the test on August 5 2015, the cic officer in Hamilton office told me in 2 month they would sent me the oath invitation, I have not received it yet.. Anyone from Hamilton has the same problem?

Took test on Oct 5th and today just saw status (Decision Made) ..... i saw lots of pals got Decision Made with not oath letter for months does it mean there could be a chance of RQ anymore?

In my humble opinion Decision Made means a positive result, the file has been checked and scrutinized and there are no concerns. It is just a matter of getting the Oath now. Why such a big delay is now the question guessing the backlogs are quiet large at least for the GTA offices.

That might also be why I was told 4-8 weeks at the Scarborough office, while I've read quite a few other people being told 2-4 months. My wife and I were speculating over the past few days on exactly where I would be taking this oath, and we're thinking that it might happen here in the Soo, instead of back down in Southern Ontario again..

Nothing yet I am guessing the elections will hold things down for a bit.

hello everybody,

i passed the test last sept 29 and they sent me a fingerprint request last week just submitted.. how long long do you think it might takes to invite me for the oath??!!
