JAN 2015 Citizenship Applicants

The new model doesn't seem to be working.....We're already 4 months through the year, and with the amount of people still stuck at "Received" since the beginning of the year, it only means that they're adding to the backlog. All that and we still haven't started talking about the storm of applications that will shock the CIC when we hit June/July (that's if it hasn't already started).
So far, that infographic represents false advertising.

Just checked my application today and this the time line per Ecas.
26-Jan-2015 - Application received at CIC Sydney
04-Mar-2015 - Received AOR
10-Mar-2015 - Started processing
13-Mar-2015 - In-Process. File Transferred to the Calgary office.

Phoned CIC and found out that my file is still in Sydney ! But the surprising part was that CIC had my 3 years old address on file from my PR file, regardless of the fact that i provided them my current address in my application. Even after having 'Application Received' status when i find out that my old address is on file that tells me that not body has even entered the information of mine in system i.e. my file hasn't been reviewed even once.

How did you get CIC to tell you where your file is? I have been trying to get them to tell me more but they wont even LOOK at my file. They just keep saying its too soon

These CIC call centre agents are available in all flavours, some are nice and some are ignorant, though i didn't get any good news but i would say i was lucky to get an agent who got in my file and gave me the information !
