Jan 2014 Parent Applicants with no updates

Anyone else out there that still stuck "in process"?
I ordered GSM notes in summer and there wasn't much info there.
Not understanding how they are working on 2016 applications when there are still people waiting from 2014 and even some from 2010.
What's happening ?

It sucks that's it's been so long.. I am assuming you applied inland? I was told inland is about a 2 year process.. Am I mistaken?

What stage are you in? did they ask for your medicals, police clearance or any sort of interview!!!!

If you didn't have AIP, your case is a member of spousal inventory reduction (SIR). Sounds like a missing correspondence, or something. Talk to your MP or order your GCMS notes again and see where you are at... I bet it may be an interview queue

This is a parent sponsorship app and it is still well within the regular processing time.

I get that it is still in process time but I haven't gotten anything while others are getting passport requests and even 2015 and 2016 applicants are getting medicals, how does that work?
I did read on the 2014 board that there are others still waiting but it seems majority are in the end stages.

i'm in the same boat.
I have NOT received any form of communication at all after the June-2014 email saying that my application has been accepted.

Sent a webform enquiry 2 weeks ago asking for an update on my application. An agent replied saying that the file is still in progress. Nothing else.

Also ordered GCMS notes 2 weeks ago - still waiting for them.

not sure what'a happening but it sure is very stressful...

Yes - Got the notes. Looks like they are waiting for previous undertaking checks. Should this not be one of the immigration's department?? Dont understand why it would take that long. My hubby sponsored me in 2010 and nobody else before/after that. And I have not sponsored anyone else before. We meet LICO +30% for all the years needed, even with birth of baby in 2015, which i've notified cic of in 2015 itself.
There was also a note that the automated email for AOR was cancelled in October 2016. So, I'm really just waiting for now. Was really hoping to get some news before end of year....

Here is what was in the note section and was updated in March 2016

Sponsor Eligibility: Pre-Assessment in Progress FC4 Sponsorship category: Parent Partner check initiated for:SPR -Social assistance check. Previous undertaking(s); Results pending. GCMS check: No relevant materail information found. Correct fees received and allocated. R10 requirements have been met. Passport copy included for PA: Yes Co-Signer on file. Co-signer is residing in Canada. SPR is currently married. SPR is Canadian Citizen residing in Canada. SPR landed on yyyy/mm/dd as a FC1 PA is divorced. -sufficient evidence provided to support PA is divorced. Supporting documents: -Divorce certificate on file. SPR has submitted the following documents as proof of relationship: -Birth certificate Documents on file satisfy relationship between SPR and PA. V/O to request additional documents if necessary. Question #5 on SPR Eligility Assessment answered Yes, PO to Review Application locked in on 2014/01/dd. Case pending officer review

I've called my MO again whose contacted cic on my behalf and still they are telling them that they are working on applications from 2011.

Finally got approval as a sponsor and it says decision made.
Anyone know how long next step takes for medical request?

I applied for my mom in January 2014 and still didn't get anything. My mom is here as a supervisa and almost one year. She wants to go back to her home country. Just want to know how much time it takes to get PR. Just wondering if she is going back to her country after how long she need to come back.
