Hi folks,

My sister has applied for transfer credits to University of Windsor from Australian University. She want to come to Canada in Jan 2014 semester. 2 1/2 years ago her student visa was refused. I am not sure why but they said lack of ties andn travel history. After that she travelled to a lot of countries including Europe, Middle East and Malaysia. What are the chances of getting student visa after 2.5 years after refusal?

One of my friend has received offer from University of Windsor in MEng (Electrical Engg.). As mentioned on the website, the course can be completed in minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 20 months. Based on this, please advise for what duration he will be getting study permit as well as work permit. Is it like for 1 year of study is equivalant to 1 year or 2 years of work permit or Do I need to specify something to Visa office about the minimum and maximum duration of Study. Please advice.

He shud apply for one year. After graduating he can apply for work permit
