no request for documents till date ...talked to the local mp and got the info that medicals have been extended another year till may 2014 and I can check back for an UPDATE on status on august 14,2012 and said current processing time is 15-18 months. like really huh :|

its very surprising to see almost no one is getting ppr now ...

The only thing that confuses me is that they are waiting for PV2 review.

When i got the request letter from cic to submit documents there was written attentionOCPV2
So may be cic require some documents from u...but i m not sure about it.

I think that's the processing officer, I send my documents to the same officer

I think I read somewhere that PV2 is the code for the Provincial Nominee Program.

i dont know why would they give july 2012 applicants thier Permenant Residence first without even starting to process the application for jan 2012 to jun 2012.

Thanks Rony for your response. my bad, the week's still starting in Canada time. I actually made an excel file for us Jan-June2012 applicants so that i could compare all our timelines. And according to it, there are still a lot of feb and march applicants, still waiting for PPR. (sigh!)

Hi Sartaj,

I am in the same timeline as yours and "in process" changed on June 20 2013 with MR done July 10 2012. I know the next communication is August 31 for all applicants between Mar-May 2012. Any comments when can we expect PPR based on your reviews and research?
