Guys I am very confused. I had ordered a WES ECA (WES for CIC) last year and it was completed in March 2015. I immediately got the PDF, but I never received the paper copy. When I checked with them they said these routinely get lost and I should just order another report.

When I am going to order another copy of the paper version, the website says I should order the duplicate "package" for CIC, which incudes pdf, CIC access and the hard copy. For like $70...

Can we just use the PDF for PR application or do I have to order the entire duplicate package again? How different is the hard copy from the PDF, especially since the ITA application is electronic? Please help.

Should I withdraw the application form for OINP? I am confused..Is there any chance I get my $1500 draft back?

I think you should ask OINP to withdraw your application. I believe I have seen a case on this Forum, where the candidate has got the application package back from OINP.

I am in the same boat. My Application for OINP reached on 17th Dec and now I got ITA.
My points changed from 458 to 453 this year. Because I got older by a year.
But lucky enough to have received ITA.
So I am thinking of sending an email to OINP to send my application back. But have no idea how to go about it.
Has anybody done that before ??

You can mail them with your details, to state that to withdraw your application with the reason and you can cancel your bank draft.

Should we wait for OINP to respond first with whatever their decision is and then cancel the draft ?
Because if they have already started some processing, they might not like the idea of cancelled draft.

Hi nz,

The hard copy is not at all different from the PDF. I suggest you print the PDF and submit a scanned copy of the prints.

CIC will verify the ECA directly from the assessing agency, i.e. WES using the WES Reference No.

However, it is always good to have a hard copy to show (maybe, I'm old-fashioned), which you can order in the meantime. Also, next time you order a report, make sure you select the courier option (I know it is more expensive).

I suggest you check with the CIC panel physicians. They will most likely conduct tests other than the X-ray. Good luck !

This is quite unbelievable. This draw happened at such a short interval. And usually it happens on Fridays. Isn't it??
