My own seniors from my grad school at UoFt. They all applied when they got 1 year of workexp in Canada - of which 3-4 months were implied as PWGP usually took that long to process in 2014-15.

Also the people who faced issues are those who exited Canada or didn't have valid status while applying for PGWP.

They key here is having a valid study permit (until 2014, it used to be called Off Campus Work permit) while you apply for PGWP, and only start work after you graduate and have applied for PGWP.

See point (w) here http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-186.html

You should also attach the letter from your uni stating you have completed all requirements of your degree on so-and-so date. I had got that letter which was a requirement for PWGP application

In my case i had study permit for another year after my completion of studies , so then i applied for PGWP because my studies were over and i had to apply for pgwp without wasting any time, so i did got it on april 10 applied on feb 12 , and started wokring in jan 05 .so your saying my exp count starts from feb 12 till present ? not jan5 till present ?

Correct. Feb 12. Assuming that is Feb 12, 2016, you will have to wait a month to apply. So yeah, in your case it is still good you declined, wait for a Feb or Mar draw

so the thing is if i put start date Feb 12 , EE automatically would give me points for 2 years 1 month in advance , thats how that works, :-X

Transcripts are good. But there is a letter you would have got from your Uni right to apply for PGWP? Letter of completion? Or did you apply with your transcripts/degree?

The funny thing is in my UoFt transcript, it just says "degree conferred on June 2015". It isnt specific with the date. On the other hand, the 'letter of completion' says I was done with my program on May 13, 2015 which is more specific with the date. I want to show that I was done with studies on that date, applied for PGWP a few days later and started working in August 2015.

As in your case, my existing Off campus work permit was valid till September 2015 which is why I could start working without a hassle

Can anyone please help me with these questions?:

Congratulations everyone ;) !

I have a few questions:

1- There is a question that asks if I "listed all periods of military positions". I was exempted from the mandatory military service in my country, and never joined the military. Should I choose "yes" or "Not Applicable"?

2- I am adding all the travel history I have on my passport for the last 10 years, there are some internal flights that I took and transits that are not stamped on the passport, will it be a problem if I don't mention those?

3- When I created my Express Entry profile, I added only the job that I wanted to get points for and did not mention other jobs. Will mentioning the other jobs after ITA now be a problem?

4- CIC website states that "In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate.".. Does this "really" mean "all" the people in my family? or only myself and my spouse who will be coming with me to Canada?

1 - Choose "yes "
2 - No issue.
3 - You should mention them but only in the personal history section.
4 - Only you and your spouse.

Thank you so much for your reply.

One more question: I applied before for EE and I was ineligible (did not reveive ITA). I received ITA with this attempt, should I choose "yes" when I am asked if I applied before and was not accepted, or are they only asking about an older ITA?

Answer "no " that question applies only if you have submitted your e-APR before.
