Guys sorry for being off topic. This is kinda urgent.

I was going through my EE profile today and I noticed, there is a question that have your ever applied to IRCC before? I have answer NO, when infact I did apply for student visa back in 2006, but got rejected.

If I slect yes, it asks me UCI number which I don't have.

Please help me how should I go about it.
Thanks

Wow- congrats to everyone who got an ITA, if trend continues it might go down to below 450 pretty soon. :)

Well, did not expect a draw yesterday, and especially didn't expect an invite! What a great surprise ;D bang on the cutoff my score, was expecting it to take a month or two at least!

Ministerial Instructions respecting invitations to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry system #52 – January 11, 2017

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 10.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, gives the annexed Ministerial Instructions Respecting Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence under the Express Entry System (January 11, 2017).

Ottawa, January 11, 2017

JOHN MCCALLUM
Minister of Citizenship and Immigration

MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (JANUARY 11, 2017)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on January 11, 2017 and ending on January 12, 2017 is 3,334.

Determination – required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on January 11, 2017 at 15:16:33 UTC, have been assigned a total of 459 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

I got an ITA too in this invitation round.
Grateful if someone can resolve my confusion.

Background Info:
My work experience starts from 12 September 2013 to 8th August 2016. It is to be exact 2 years 10 months and 26 days. While filling the EOI application there is no option to select the dates, hence the tool calculated my score to be 469. Considering me in the category of having work experience of 3 years or more.

Question:
Whether i will be considered in this category of work experience by the CIC after submitting documents or not?

What's the reason for such a fall in CRS? Is it because CIC consumed remaining quota of 2016? If so, coming months may not see so many ITAs & may the have higher cutoff.

But who will be there if they have cleared everyone after 459? I agree people would jump in to pool/have points increments everyday, but definitely not 2000 - 3000 people could enter with cutoffs above 459 in a span of two weeks, I suppose!

Hi Nouman,

Even I have same query. For me Canadian Exp is 1 year, 11 month & 15 days; hence tool is considering it as 2 years. Not sure if I get ITA later, whether it will be rejected because of it. When I asked this question in forum earlier, someone told that it will be rejected. However, there is nothing we can do to rectify it. Please please do let me know once your application is processed.
