Hi guys, our application was received last Sept 2017, and until now no passport request yet (Jamaica).
Is anyone here can give me an idea how long the process in Jamaica.

It took 7 years but we finally won our appeal January 2017 and my husband received his Canadian visa in July 2017. Our son was born October 2017, so thank god it came through when it did. It was an extremely difficult time in our lives, and now looking back it feels like a lifetime ago. Relieved to close that chapter in our lives and I pray for every persons strength who is facing difficulties with immigration.

Just to share our timeline, from what I recall:
Submitted application for spousal sponsorship to Kingston, Jamaica Canadian Embassy: March 2012
Received Visa Denial: June 2015. (What took 3 years to deny a visa - ridiculous)
Submitted application for appeal: June 2015
Court Appeal: January 2017 -> approved on the spot (Trial only took 20 minutes and both the defense and judge were in awe as to why we were denied to begin with)
Visa Received: July 2017
Arrival in Canada: July 2017
